The Australian Federal Police can pocket dirty money from bank accounts even when it belongs to people who have committed no crime, the NSW Court of Appeal held last week in two cases.
The decisions have consequences for at least a dozen other matters around the country involving a total of $50 million to $100 million dollars, according to one barrister.
