The Associated Press reported that when Washington police raided the home of a suspected drug dealer last fall, they found cocaine but also nearly 20 jugs of liquid Tide. His customers had been paying for drugs with stolen Tide, police said.
Orange County, Calif., authorities confirmed to The Los Angeles Times that a man was being held on $1 million bail on 10 counts of commercial burglary, which included loading up a grocery cart with nine bottles of Tide and leaving without paying.
