US authorities have charged Pennsylvania residents Christopher Lopez and Michael Torres with money laundering.
Lopez owns a car dealership (C&D Motorsports) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Torres works as a salesperson in this dealership. During October-December 2019, Lopez and Torres concealed that one vehicle in the dealership was purchased using drug trafficking proceeds.
Lopez and Torres may receive a jail sentence of up to 20 years for the money laundering offense. Additionally, they may face supervised release and a monetary penalty.
