Australia’s South Australia Police (SAPOL) have arrested two men and a woman after the Financial and Cybercrime Investigation Branch revealed their drug trafficking activities on the dark web. The authorities have charged them for drug trafficking, money laundering, and importing a large commercial quantity of LSD.
SAPOL and other authorities searched residential and business premises in Adelaide and a property in Kings Park. They have seized AUD 1 million ($712.3k) in cash, AUD 700,000 ($498.6k) of cryptocurrency, and drugs worth over AUD 150,000 ($106.8k).
The authorities have further seized two residential properties and a sports motorcycle, together worth AUD 1.27 million ($904.6k).
