A Lincoln man has been convicted of laundering the profits from a network of cannabis farms across Lincolnshire.
Duc Sy Bui, 42, of Blyton Grove, took the profits of six cannabis farms in the county and two in other parts of the country and laundered them through a nail bar in Lincoln and a casino in Nottingham.
…Bui was found guilty of two charges of acquiring, using or possessing criminal property and one charge of money laundering. He will be sentenced at a date yet to be confirmed.
Detective sergeant Nick Clark said: “Duc Sy Bui was part of a network of criminals cultivating and selling class B drugs in the UK. Lincolnshire Police disrupted the cannabis farms, took those drugs off the streets and then conducted a lengthy and complex financial investigation to secure this conviction.”
