The UK’s National Crime Agency has put private schools on notice that they should file more reports flagging suspicions about fees being paid with dirty cash. Donald Toon, head of the NCA’s economic crime unit, said only a handful of suspicious activity reports, or SARs, had been filed by British private schools and not enough was being done to check the source of funds’ legitimacy.
