The Vatican, Taiwan and the Vatican signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) Tuesday on joint efforts to combat international money-laundering and financial support for terrorist activities.
The MOU was signed by Lee Hung-chin , a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) official in charge of combating money-laundering, and Tomasso di Ruzza, director of the Holy See’s Financial Information Authority, and witnessed by Lee Shih-ming , Taiwan’s ambassador to the Vatican.
